Is this possible as it is fitted with a release handle in the passenger compartment and is cable operated ?

To work from a Clifford Concept 300.

When you say "Boot Release", are you refering to the trunk or hood? In either case,  you will need to purchase a trunk release solenoid. An auxillary channel output from your alarm can then controll the solenoid through a  relay.

Hope this helps.

Scooby has a cable for the boot release.

so why not add on a solenoid motor like they said? "it can pull on the cable and bingo"  the clifford boot release sends out a negative pulse, when you press the fob. so it is easy to wire up. you need a relay though or you'll blow the alarm .

"you wont like me, when i get angry" .

IN ENGLAND, THEY REFER TO THE TRUNK AS THE "BOOT"  AND THE HOOD AS THE "BONNET"  SO, THIS GUY IS REALLY LOOKING FOR THE TRUNK RELEASE WIRE IN HIS SUBARU.  BUT IT WOULD HELP IF  HE TOLD US THE YEAR AND MODELBoot Release on a Subaru -- posted image.

I fitted an eletric release for my Impreza boot so I could have my remote pop the boot. Instead of fitting it to the body of the car where the cable terminates, I put the solenoid in the boot lid itself, on the rod that goes from the key lock to the latch mechanism. The boot key hole is on the RHS of the lid rear and a rod runs to the middle of the lid where the latch is.
