This is now where I'm at....
I have hooked up the purple wire to the RED / light blue and the pink to the light GREEN/ purple
Car runs fine with key, everything works
I can remote start it but without the keys in the ignition and turned to on it shuts off after a couple of seconds.
Also once it is started and I engage the rs and try to remove the keys it also dies after a couple of seconds.
I'm thinking 1 of a couple things is there something the pink/white wire should hook up to?
Also the unit was previously installed on a ranger that did require a bypass and I noticed there were little jumpers on the right side of the main rs unit... Should these be removed or moved around now?

You mentioned before that you were getting a new bypass. Can you tell us which model did you get?
It seems that the current problem is the bypass.

Yes I put one inside the unit.
Is it maybe cuz I didn't hook up the factory disarm wire?

Maybe, but you said it remote starts fine with the key on the ignition. Which means that the bypass is not sending the signal to the key cylinder. Could be that the wire around the cylinder is not in the right place.
This is some advance diagnostics stuff from here I'm not quite sure you are knowledgeable enough to continue from here. There will be diagnostics codes from the alarm as well as TACH, and RF frequency testing. This is complicated.
