I am looking at installing the above system into my truck.
I plan on using the D2D to minimize the number of wires to the truck.
I have been reviewing the install manual for both the 1401 and CHALL and have a couple questions.
The CHALL shows installing a relay for the MUX line in the ignition, can I use the IGN 2/FLEX RELAY inputs and outputs of the 1401 to do this?
Also I have read about needing a relay for the parking lights through a 1130 ohm resistor to ground. Since the 1401 is a negative output anyway, would there be issues with just putting the resistor in-line on the remote start wire?
Finally, does the CHALL do horn as well? I cannot find anything that says it does, but the CHALL instructions do not show the horn wire at all.
Thanks for the help.

did you get chth2 for the chall?  As far as the resistor for the lights you can solder it in where the fuse goes for the - parking lights jumper.  The flex relay won't achieve what you want with the mux wire, it is best just to use a spdt relay.    Bulldogsecurity.com has wiring info.

Thanks. Yes I did get the chth2.
Why will the Flex relay not work? Does it not stay activated the entire time the remote start is running?
