Working on an 05 ford excurson and installing a viper 5101.  The ford has keyless entry already and I cant seam to find the document 1094!!  Can someone email it to me?  Thanks

It's easier to just pulse the ignition with unlock to wake up the GEM. Even if you were to use 1094 you would have to set the unit to double pulse unlock...so just pulse the ignition at the same time and it wakes up the GEM.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Is all I need to do is run a jumper wire to ing 1 and will work?

A relay activated by the unlock output from your system to the ignition wire in the truck will do it. Just remember to set the unit to double pulse unlock...first pulse will wake up the gem, second will unlock.
85 negative unlock output from system
86 and 30 constant fused +12V
87 Out to ignition

I just re-read the thread and realized that I should point out that you still need to hook the unlock output to the vehicle as well.
The unlock wire will activate the relay mentioned above AND the unlock in the vehicle...first pulse will activate the ignition, waking up the GEM (and pulse the unlock with no effect), second pulse will activate ignition AND unlock the door.
