I am trying to install Daytime Running Lamps in my 2003 Explorer.  I have a relay that I have to connect to the multifunction switch in the steering column and to the light switch in order for it to work with my Autolamps.  Here is my issue:

The instructions say to find the RD/YE wire at the multifunction switch and splice that into the relay.  There are three wiring harnesses at the multifunction switch, two grey and one black. The black harness has a wire that is really pink/ye, could this be the one that is being referenced? Is there any other way to tell by the number labels on the harness?

Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Thanks!

Chris

Use a multimeter with a piercing tip to probe the wires in question. That's the way I do it to find or confirm a wire.
