If you remove the plastic panel around the steering colum, you will see the black 6 pin plug which connects to the ignition switch. This is the ignition harness.

this is where i hook up the heavy gauge wires for the remote start alarm?

You can also find those wires and most of the others required for adding a remote starter/alarm at the BCM. It is the module inside the driver's dash. If you pop off the panel on the end of the driver's side dash you will see the BCM.

i have PYTHON 5303P LCD 2-Way Security System with a ADS-DL-CA2 IMMOBILIZER and DOORLOCK BYPASS and CANBUS (ALL CARS, INCLUDES CAN BUS). i have a 2007 chevy monte carlo ss. i an trying to hook up the alaem system and i am having problems. i used the data pug from alarm to ADS-DL-CA2 and hooked up the pk3, 12v, ground, data, ignition, other pk3, and auto relock on the ADS-DL-CA2.on the alarm i hooked up the siren, domelight, activation, and parking light. also all 3 12v, ignition, and accessory on the heavy gauge remote start relay. i get no light on the ADS-DL-CA2 am i missing somthing?

Here is one possibility :
Unless you flashed the iDatalink module with a firmware that starts with "DBI" you won't be able to go D2D with
the Python unit.  Connect in the W2W mode and everything should be OK.

bought it online flashed. paper work says instalation mode: DBI DL-GM3

Starter purple (for starter kill only) + starter or underhood fuse box, black 56 pin plug, pin F1

Second Starter white (resistor code), WHITE/ black (5V reference) +9.6K ohms ignition switch or BCM, lt. green plug, pins 2 and 4
Starter 1 YELLOW (+) NOT USED FOR REMOTE START *SEE NOTE*
NOT FOR REMOTE START, *
what wire do i use for starter on my heavy gauge relay {purple and green}
