Howie:
I believe I have H3/1 connected to a 12V switched source is this correct? I will have to double check this weekend it is actually hooked up but I want to make sure it should go to a switched source. Isn't this the wire that acts as the ignition sense so when the key is turned on it sets the alarm off? If it is then this is working

One of your wires at the key switch will go live on ignition and start (cranking),
that's the wire you connect H3/1 to.

Ok so your saying I need to check to make sure H3/1 is staying at +12V while on acc and cranking? Perhaps it's only on +12V only while on acc?

I never said ACC and cranking, I said IGN and cranking.
Most ACC circuits will; dump on cranking.

Howie stupid question but can you explain the difference between ACC and IGN? I believe they might be the same in this car. Here are two things from the wiring manual (painless wiring) right now I think I have H3/1 connected to Orange (it's been a while I'd have to double check) Purple is the wire I spliced for the starter kill

What Howie is saying is the ACC will drop to 0 volts while cranking the car, Ignition will typically show around 10.5 volts cranking.
