I am having an issue getting the xk06 to learn the resistance code on a 2003 Chevy Malibu. The firmware is plxr v3.0. I used installation d which seems pretty direct no cutting wires just splicing in. I get the bypass to program to passlock two and the try the starting the car to program code, but led stays on solid and when the button is held it goes out, no clicks, nothing learned and light comes back on solid.

How are you wired? Is your brown wire from the xk06 connected when you tried this? That wire only gets connected AFTER you have programmed the bypass to the vehicle.

Checked the wires all were soldered up, wanted to finish up. Pulled the xk06 and went with a relay and resistor. Worked like a charm.
