Well I'm not afraid to admit that your experience far surpasses mine nor that you are right about the knowledge which I am lacking that's why I'm here sorry for that though I was throwing tools as I wrote that haha and thank you for replying I do appreciate that sir as for the wiring everything else works it's isolated to the remote start I believe it's a wire in the wrong place as nothing is messed up but here is what I got red wire from viper goes to RED / white, RED / black and RED / white goes to red, pink to pink, orange to orange,pink/white to white and violet to car side of yellow, green to key side of yellow not sure if it's relevant or not but might as well include it as I read the dball instructions it had said not to plug in and hit the button to program well I obviously couldn't do this because the unit wasn't receiving any power I found another diagram for same unit which described a different procedure so I used that one and it worked I just haven't programed it yet so not sure if not having it on at first did something I don't think it would but I'm not 100% also neutral safety is at ground brake shutdown to white wire on brake switch horn honk is hooked to black at bcm white parking light output to to grey/black on bcm again thanks
I may not be perfect but at least I drive a Chevy
