Hey guys, quick noob question.

What does the subsonic filter switch on my Audiobahn A3201Q do? I've tried turning it on and off and it doesn't really seem to do anything. Maybe I'm just deaf or somethen. I tried lookin it up and can't find any resources on it.

It's adjustable from 20-50Hz. I figure it acts kind of like a crossover, but I can't tell a difference with it on or off. ANy info would be great.

It is a filter that cuts out power robbing frequencies.

The freq.(s) it cuts out is somewhere around 20hrz and down. I am sure someone will give an ecact freq.

IMO it is a good feature.

AHHH... that explains a lot. So basically if I set it at around 25, it cuts out everything below that. Makes sense. but i think I'm gonna just leave it off...

Andy,

Your amp should have a button that will either engage or disengage the filter. The cutoff freq. is already set.

Actually it's got a selector switch (on off) and a dial, like a gain adjustment. The frequencies are marked from 20hz to 50hz. Subsonic Filter? -- posted image.

Well even better then, more to tweak. I am sure 20 to 30 hrz will be sufficient I wouldnt go any higher.
