I am installing a Viper 5701 in a 2006 Kia Spectra5 and I am running into some problems. I have not been able to find the door trigger wire.   From what I have found, I am looking for a blue/black wire in the drivers side kick panel.
I have just been cheating so far and grounding the wire to allow me t< program features, but that isn't a permanent fix.
I am having issues getting the remote start to work (all wires correctly soldered correctly). When activating, no voltage is put out to the starter over the purple wire. If I disconnect the H3 harness and jump the H6 (+ constant) with H4 (violet starter output) the starter engages.
I did program the unit to be set to automatic transmission mode (3-1-2).
What should I check next?
There is NOT a transponder with this vehicle. I had a non-chip key made at the local hardware store to double check.
