can't say much about the 2001 and later rf's but my 2000 rf's sounds damn good and my next amps will be US AMPS i am getting 2 of the USA 6000's nothing like 12,000 watts rms

1996 Blazer, 4 HX2 12's, 2 RF 800a2's, 4 6.5 MB Quarts, 1 RF 400a4, Pioneer 8400, 220 amp alternator, 0 gage main and 2 gage amp power wire. 149.1db

I agree about the 1200.1. I've used one before and it's more or less bulletproof and isn't too expensive. You won't be very happy if you get one of those amps you listed in my opinion. Save the money and buy an amp that won't die on you in 2 years.
