I hooked up a 2001 Kicker Comp VR 15" up to my freinds home stero that prob does 100-150 watts. That thing hit half as hard as my S12L5 (Kicker solo-baric 12") that had about 500 watts. My 15 got stollen before i could hook it up. That thing prob would have tore up my S12L5.  Then again L7s are nicer, so i don't know.

Yeah RCA's could be a problem, especially since you said you noticed it luder when pushing on them. If they have bad wires i would replace them anyways, could cause other probs in the long run anyways. Keep us updated...

I agree with tdsteele bad rca will cause you lots of headaches. If you looking for some good quality RCA's at an affordable price I would suggest that you take a look at KnuKonceptz http://www.knukonceptz.com
