so i'm putting some type r coax 6.5 in the rear panel of an 98 integra 3 door (hatchback or what ever)  so first off i can't get the top of the back seat out to pull the panels all the way off. could use help with that, but then i find the tweeter actually sticks though the panel and there is no way to put everything back together with them in there. anyway i'm thinking back mounting but i was wonder if anybody had this problem and had an easy fix....

but most importantly how do i get the seat out?

Well, i dont know anything about that car, but, in some other cars i have messed with, to get the top part of the backseat out it is usually bolted down on the bottom towards the corners behind the bottom section of the seat. You can see if it is by just pushing down on the bottom cushion and look around for any braces coming down from the top section and bolted. If it is then unbolt it and slide the seat up and then out. As far as the speakers go.....no idea on that one without being able to see it.

turns out there are little black c clips on the outside pins on each side of the seat, after you get those off the wiggle off the pegs that the seat backs move on and then they slide right out.  took me awhile to figure it out but wasn't to bad once you get the seats out

i also back mounted the speakers no problem, except i had to cut a larger hole for the surround to fit through.
