3000GT stereo wiring diagram?

i have a 93 mitsubishi DOHC base model 3000gt. i am wondering if you guys have a wiring diagram for me or will my head unit work without any splicing and messes. thanks!

i forgot to mention the what head unit i have! sorry! its a dual xdm6800 (i have to start somewhere!) and it has a 2X10 pin set up. i am hoping i can keep the equalizer that came in the car.

I can't help you with the wiring diagram, but I will suggest that you go talk to your local stereo specialty shop about buying the appropriate wiring harness so that you don't have to splice. It is definately worth the couple of bucks it costs.

I agree that it is best to find a harness you can use to work with the factory wiring. you will not be able to use the eq though. If you have the infinity factory system you will need to either bypass the amp or use an adaptor to use the factory amp, this is available through soundgate.

I have the wiring diagram for the factory radio, but it doesn't show anything about an equalizer..  Just 1 radio unit, and the CD changer plug...   Email me @ riceburner98@comcast.net and I can send you the 3 pages from the manual, if it will help...   (kinda hard to read, but useful...)  - Bob
