i thinking of getting 2 R.F. FFS1224 12" dvc's and using a BD 1000 mono amp.  What is the best way to wire the subs.  They will be in a sealed box firing down.  Any help will be appreciated.

NOT RECOMMENDED. The Bd1000 amp is designed to be ran at a 2ohm mono load, you have chosen subs that will present the amp with either a 1 ohm mono load (bad) or 4 ohm mono load (good but lost half the power - so bad). Choose subwoofers that have a rating of between 400-600w rms, an impedance of either 4ohm single voice coil or dual 2 ohm voice coil. This will present the amp with a stable load that the amp was designed and engineered to run. Good choice on the sealed box. Make sure the amp is grounded direct to the battery, or if grounded in the back of the vehicle, a ground return resistance of below .5ohm or expect problems with any Rockford amp.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

May I suggest a jbl bp1200.1 1ohm and 2ohm at 1200 watts rms. and also for the money that you could get a hundred times better amplifier than rockford by getting a memphis st1000d.
