I just wanted to post my findings.

Well CruisinS&S was right on! I didn't get a chance to pull this apart till today. But the first thing I tried, worked. I disconnected the orange wire of the harness adapter, and what do you know, everything still worked and it fixed my problem.

Thanks to all who helped, and especially Thanks to CruisinS&S! It was an easy fix.
