I don't think it matters. Either side would be fine I think.

Why do need a bass blocker if you already have a crossover?
That is what your crossover is doing.

If you do want one on the woofer, splice it in on the positive lead.

Tcole Trent 109 probobly wants a bass blocker because he dosn't want any bass going to his small speakers. His external crossover isn't filtering out the low frequencies, its just sending the lows to the woofer and the highs to the tweeter.

Tcole is correct, however he has also posed a good question. In this case the crossover looks to be a 2way passive device that will hp the tweeter and lp the woofer. It will not provide a hp on the woofer which is what the post seems to ask about. If these speakers are being amplified, then a hp crossover will be used, to block more bass, turn up the crossover frequency. If they are not amplified a basic cap can be installed on the positive lead to the woofer, a value of 200mf should work fine. If you can find a mylar non polar cap, that would work best for you.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

Forbidden you are basically saying what I said about what the crossover is doing. Low passing the woofer and high passing the tweeter. He would not be using an external amp if he had bass bockers because there would be a high pass crossover on the amp.
