Check http://www.logjamelectronics.com for the correct adapter for your 2004 aux adapter.

The reason I don't want to buy an aftermarket deck is because I don't want to lose my rear seat audio controls. These controls allow my kids to watch TV and listen to the sound via thier headphones plugged in the rear radio. I wired up my video system using an FM modulator. I also like the stock look of things.

Someone has to be able to figure this out!

Does anyone have a Trailblazer or Envoy with an aux adapter that works?

If you do, what radio do you have and which aux adapter do you have.

what problem did you have with the GM12-Aux?      I've got an 03 Envoy for my winter snow chewer but chose to use a modulator for my DVD/MP3 sources because i didnt want to lose the ability to listen to one source in the back seats thru headphones ( kids watching Nemo )  while i listen to CD's up front thru the HU...... we do TB's and Envoys here all the time and if you tell me what problems you experienced i'll see if i can replicate them with a customers vehicle..... The GM12-Aux is supposed to work fine on this platform as long as you have the RDS radio....

The problem I am having is that I cannot get any of the aux input adapters to be recognized by my radio. I have the Bose 6 disc w/ OnStar. This radio is RDS and I do not have facotry XM. I don't know for sure if the radio is XM ready or not, I don't have a part number to cross reference with.

From my understanding speaking with tech support from the manufacturers they say I need a XM ready radio. They say that is how the aux adapter is recognized.

If you get this to work in any Trailblazer or Envoy please let me know what the part number was from the factory radio and which aux adapter you used.

I would really like to use the Pac aux adapter that has the integrated Ipod controller, but it won't work. I spoke with PIE about coming out with a similar product and they said it is in the works. The GM12-Aux you are referring to is the PIE product I assume, so if this works hopefully I can wait a bit longer for the Ipod integrated unit.

Thanks for your help.

I've got exactly the same problem. Trailblazer '02 with Bose in-dash 6 disk changer. Does not wish to recognize the GM12-AUX adapter. Did anyone have success adding any AUX adapter to this car?
Thanks!
