i just install a clifford matrix 3.5 into a integra, i'm pretty sure everything is right, but would not trigger the power door lock and unlock. there's no door trigger wire from the clifford alarm, there's a doorlock and door open wire which are connected already. And also my siren won't sound at all, am i suppose to cut a wire off of the siren to make a specific sound ? anyone have a clue ?

my integra is a 1996 GSR. i just want to hook up the basic stuff for now, but can't seem to have power door lock working or the siren working at all. there's no sound from the siren. Am i suppose to hook up the siren negative wire to ground also or just hook up the siren wire from the module to the siren negative and have positive from siren to battery. And also does the ignition wire from the alarm need to be connected at all for basic alarm installation or is it not needed.

Can you please post what wires you used for the door locks and also the locations that you used. As far as the ignition wire, you will need this to be hooked up. This tells the unit wether or not the car is running. The siren (-) wire needs to be grounded and the siren output wire from the alarm needs to be connected to the (+) side of the siren .

  • RED (12V CONSTANT)             -    BATTERY (+)
  • BLACK (GROUND)                     -   BATTERY (-)
  • ORANGE ground when armed -   BATTERY (-)
  • WHITE (+/- PARKING LIGHT)   -   RED / GREEN WIRE OF CAR
  • GREEN ( - DOOR TRIGGER)   -   GREEN/ RED WIRE OF CAR
  • VIOLET ( + DOOR TRIGGER)   -   BLACK/ RED WIRE OF CAR
  • BLACK/ WHITE (DOME LIGHT) -   NEG DOME LIGHT WIRE OF CAR
  • BROWN (+ TO SIREN)               -   CONNECT TO NEGATIVE OF SIREN
  • BLUE ( TRUNK TRIGGER)        -   GREEN WIRE OF CAR (KICK PANEL)
  • WHITE/ BLUE (ACTIVATION)      -   I DID NOT HOOK THIS WIRE UP
  • RED / WHITE (CHNL 2 VALIDITY)- DON'T KNOW SO DIDN'T HOOK UP

THATS ALL THE WIRE THAT I USE EXCEPT FOR THE WIRES THAT JUST HOOK UP TO THE SHOCK SENSOR AND ANTENNA. THEY JUST ALL HOOK UP TO THE UNIT. I DIDN'T KNOW IF I SHOULD USE THE OTHER WIRE THAT SEEMS TO BE FOR START UP TO HOOK UP TO IGNITION. THOSE ARE THE WIRES THAT SEEMS TO GO TO IGNITION. WHEN I PRESS THE LOCK/UNLOCK BUTTON ON THE REMOTE, THE PARKING LIGHTS WORK BUT NO SIREN AND POWER DOOR LOCK WORK.

ARE THOSE THE ONLY WIRES THAT NEED TO BE HOOKED UP FOR BASIC ALARM INSTALLATION OR AM I MISSING OTHER WIRES THAT SHOULD BE CONNECTED FOR THE ALARM TO WORK?

DO I USE THE IGNITION WIRE FROM THE START UP WIRES FROM THE ALARM UNIT TO HOOK UP TO THE IGNITION OF THE CAR, OR WHICH WIRE DO I USE FOR THAT ?

Your alarm has two wires for door trigger pos and neg. your door pin is only going to need one wire. You need to figure out if it neg or pos and hook that wire up acordingly the descriptions you gave are not for keyless entry

yes there are two wires for door trigger. i hooked up the pos door trigger wire to to the door unlock wire of the car, and the neg door trigger wire to the lock wire of the car, but that leaves the main door trigger wire of the car. how do i go about with that ? which wires do i connect from the alarm to that car wire. also when the doors are open when armed it didn't sound off the alarm, so i don't know. if anyone could help ?

which wires do i use for power door lock and unlock, i can't seem to figure it out. there's a relay that plugs into the alarm module, which has 5 wires.

  • violet/black   -   lock/unlock
  • GREEN/ black  -   lock output
  • WHITE/ black   -   lock normally closed
  • blue/black     -   unlock output
  • BROWN / black  -   unlock normally closed

i'm really confused on which wires connect where and if i don't need to use all these wires. by the way the violet/black wire have a fuse relay on it.
