I'm going to need some real help here. I used to have a Matrix RS 3 in my other 92 Si that my buddy installed for me with a quickness. That alarm all of a sudden died and so the manufacturer replaced it with a Matrix RS 3.5. It was easy to just replace it as everything was pretty much wired up for me already. That Si got totalled and I finally found me another Si. I still kept the alarm. It's been hard for my buddy to find the time to get back to me and plus, he always lags it.

Anyway, it looks like I'm going to need help on how to wire this thing up. My buddy wired up the domelight supervision option, but that's confusing me. He also wired up a latch output to a validity output, but that's confusing me. He wired it up so I can use the remote start feature, though my car is a stickshift, but that's confusing me. Pretty much the entire process is confusing me. This isn't my thing. I appreciate all the help I can get, fella's.

TIA

Here are a few issues I'm having with the Primary Harness of my alarm:

For my alarm, I have the option of incorporating the domelight to turn on when the alarm is disarmed. I remember my buddy doing this...

Issue 1:  He connected both this wire [ blk/wht (-) 200 mA Domelight Supervision Output ] of primary harness of alarm with this wire [ grn (-) Door Trigger Input, Zone 3 ] of primary harness of alarm to the light grn/red wire of door trigger. But he also had a relay on the domelight wire side. I'm confused on how to properly install this. (No power doorlocks and no power windows, by the way.)

For my alarm, it has a remote start feature to allow the vehicle to turn on. I remember my buddy doing this...
Issue 2:  He wired the Neutral Safety Input switch with a relay he wiRED / rigged up so I can use the remote start feature even though my car is a stickshift. I'm confused on how to properly install this.
For my alarm, it has a Ground-When-Armed Output wire.

Issue 3:  It says:  "This wire [ orange (-) 500 mA Armed Output ] supplies a (-) 500 mA ground as long as the system is armed. This output ceases as soon as the system is disarmed. The orange wire is pre-wired to control the 8618 starter kill relay. I remember my buddy wiring this wire up to something, but I don't remember what. Have any idea?

For my alarm, it has a Programmable Output. If I can recall, I think this was the wire (or some other wire) we used to hook up to my radio so I'd be able to turn it on with the alarm's remote. I remember my buddy doing this...

Issue 4:  He connected this wire [ RED / wht (-) 200 mA Channel 2 Programmable Output ] to a relay he wiRED / rigged up as a latching relay??? I'm confused on how to properly install this.

This is about it as far as the primary harness goes. I didn't get a chance to work on the car as long as I wanted since it got dark soon. I'll continue tomorrow and see what more problems I come across.

PS:  Thanks for the help snguyen.

Okay. I just got the basic functions of a basic alarm of my alarm working. Yeah, I know it sounds weird, but that's what I meant. No shock/motion sensor yet since the wiring I had for my motion sensor got tangled up and tore from the plug and I can't find my shock sensor anywhere. Anyway, now I want to get the other issues of my prior post resolved.

Issue 1:  I would like my domelight to work with the alarm.

Issue 2:  I would like to be able to use my remote start feature.

Issue 3:  I had this wire [ orange (-) 500 mA Armed Output ] hooked up before. Got any idea on what it might have been hooked up to before?

Issue 4:  I would like to hook my radio up to the alarm so I can turn it on with one of my optional outputs.

I appreciate all the help I can get, fella's.

TIA

Okay. I got Issue 1, 2, and 3 resolved. Now, I just need to solve my fourth issue. I want to be able to wire a latching relay to one of my validity outputs. I'm not sure if I got that right, but yeah...

I appreicate all the help I can get, fella's.

TIA
