You can if you want, bt some installer's want to isolate the clutch wire from the starter incase there's possible feedback from the starter wire to the clutch that will engage the clutch when you don't want it to be engaged. Some GM vehciles have a small current drain on the starter wire that can cause weird things to happen.

sorry about that i m looking to put a remote start  in a 98 nissian max but the alarm isnt made for a manual car .so what is the best way to install and bypass the clutch  to use the remote starter   alarm being used viper791xv thanks

Do you have good insurance and a great lawyer ? Being the the US, there are alot of sue crazy people that want your money in lawsuits if you hurt them if the remote starter starts in gear. If the system isn't designed for a manual car, don't use it. Sell it and get a system that is meant for a manual.
