ya...so i dont know what i did.

well i have an audiovox ax700....i installed it about a month or 2 ago....and i was working on my car last night and i musta hit something??? like the alarm works and all but i get no CHIRPS or anything from the alarm wheni lock the car (not from the car or the remote...but the functions do work)....the remote shows the speaker X'ed, and i cant seem to figure out how to fix it! i read the manual, and it says NUTHIGN does anyone know?

you might have put it in to valet mode or you have silent arm and disarm feature enabled

One way to check if its in valet mode or just silent arming/disarming is to arm/lock the vehicle and the n wait about 15-20 seconds then open the door from the inside, if the alarm goes off your not in valet mode. and means your just silently arming and disarming the vehicle i would lookat the manuel to see if it says anything about that.
