We have two units that are KEYLESS for your car ( GTP and non-GTP as well ). Simple installation and safer than having a key in the car. Please email me if more information is required.

Not trying to sell you stuff, rather give you other choices and options available. Here's what you do.... get rid of the DT piece and use this diagram to bypass the Passkey system with a spare key. It will work all the time that the RS unit engages the starter, but will be off otherwise and the small gauge wire will wrap tighter around the cylinder than that big @$$ DT ring will so it will induce the signal alot easier: http://www.velocitymotorsport.com/install_notes/Ford_PATS_bypass.htm I know this is the diagram for a FORD, but it's a universal diagram that will work with any transponder key. Hope this helps and sorry if I offended you by offering you another product.

Jeff,

no prob, sorry if I seemed off color.

didn't mean it that way.

anyway- I have the GM small key head, odds are I'll break the transponder getting it out(dont realy want to chance it). I dont have the large ring for the key cylinder, I have the single strand wire.  I've done this relay trick you described before many times with the ford transponder. I think I have my problem narowed down- the key cylinder wraped wire from the bypass mod is to close to the metal of the key cylinder. going to form it first(flat circle) then glue it to the plastic passlockIII oem black housing(3 turns also not just 2.).

will let you guys know how it turns out . thisafternoons job.

thanks for your help.

hope I can return the fav soon.

Mark

making the loop first and placing it worked great! its flat and can easily be stuffed  between the key cilinder and plastic steering colom cover, WITHOUT removing the key cylinder(tumblers). best and fastest way I've done one yet.

thank you all.

hope this can help someone in the future!
