I just wanted to clearify before I do it. I have a Viper 791xv and want my reverse lights to turn on when I remote start. All I have to do is tap into the parking light wire from the alarm, connect that wire to a relay and wire that relay to my reverse wire in my truck, right? No diodes just relay, right?

thanks

If the Viper has a (-) and a (+) parking light output, use the (-) to trigger a relay and you won't need to diode isolate the wire. If it only has the (+) then tap into the (+) parking light output of the Viper and use this wire to trigger a relay to engage the reverse lights, again no diodes necessary because the relay will isolate the reverse lights from the parking lights.
