I installed a viper 550esp and I also needed a transponder bypass.  The only problem that I am having is that I need a neg output from the alarm when remote start is activated. I was told to use the WHITE/ blue wire from the alarm which is a remote start activation input. But I need an neg output.  When I remote start  it, the transponder is not acitvated. If I physically ground the transponder wire and then  remote start  it works fine.  Does anyone know what wire I have to use to get a neg(-) output from the alarm when remote start is activated? Thanks alot...

Hi, The blue/black wire on the 6pin H-3(Remote start harness) that is called the optional third ignition wire will work fine. It is a (-) neg output 200ma. The WHITE/ blue wire is a input to start vehicle.

Also, if you're using the third ignition wire, the blue status output in the 6-pin harness will work.

the blue status output is the one you need cause it sends a ground pulsed info signal to the transponder do this and your good to go this is the right way to do it.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
