Just getting back into some installing here after what seems to be an eternity of doing other work, and I have run into some difficulty while attempting to remove the factory radio from a 1987 Bonneville...
has anyone here ever done an install into the Bonnevilles? there are no visible screws or mounting hardware, just a plate top and bottom that somehow covers whatever is holding the head unit in place...I have tried prying it out, pushing it out from the back, and pretty much everything else I can think of short of removing the whole damned dash...
can anyone shed some light on this for me?
thanx in advance...

Hey BP, You have not been in here for a long time. I can't help you with your install other than to say get a chilton or haines for that car. it will tell you what you need to know.
