yeah.. they are the same as far as the height and everything 'cept for the length.. they can butt right up to each other and look like one continous amp and you can just cut a big hole in your amp rack by the power and speaker connections because of the end caps.. they hide everything, including the screws used to mount the amp.

Making a wise choice IMO

be sure to get the m500 2 ohm and run 4awg for it alone..

what about MA audio? how are their amps regarding power and general sounding good?

Right now I think I'm leaning toward going with Apline power as opposed to JL. I did want to simplify things by going to 1 amp., but I also want to get the most for my buck. I over looked Alpines amps for the longest time.

Another factor weighing me toward Alpine is like I said, I get a significant discount on items we carry and Apline happens to be one of them, so most likely I'll be going with them.

They are both good choices but if you can get a good price on the Alpine then defiantly go for it
