Anyone done any of these yet? They look like the Hornet 564T.

Are they any good? Range? Do they have in car temperature on the remote?

Some info would be great before i bring these in the store. Thanks.

Identical to the Valet 554R, uses the XCRS. Pretty slick piece, have a dozen or so coming in this week with the rest of my order. Should be a solid unit. The only PITA is setting the clock on the remote.

Just put one in my truck tonight(2003 Silverado SS)...

It coming out tomorrow, freaking POS.

No range, the install and owners manuals(photocopied paper folded in half and stapled) are all wrong, won't display in-car tempature. At least i didn't sell any to customers.

Thanks for wasting my time DEI... I'll throw in a Compustar instead.

Interesting.....
The 554R was a good piece. Wonder why this thing would be any different. I mean, apparently all they did was change the relay satellite thing to the current version, and away it goes.
Interesting...

The only time I have ever gotten a alarm with a folded stapled manual was not dei direct it was from a dist warehouse and it was b stock. I know those r new and all but ??? They have been good to me I have had no problem with it and for that matter the 03 chev has problems of there own like the purple wire magic converter box, I hate those totaly at the mercy of technology and I just like to wire stuff myself, many of those converters are just crap and cause more problem than anything. But it beats going into every door etc...

You guys have DEI training seminars???? Jesus, I can't even get our rep to return a phone call..... (ask Duane about Gary in MB sometime...)
So, it is pretty much an updated 554R, from what I gather, isn't it?
