I have a 2000 F150 with a jkrs3 r/s and a xk04ford bypass. My problem is that it will turn over but won't remote start. When I go into the diagnostics, it says there is a low or no tach signal and yet I have programmed and stored the tach rate according to install instructions. I first was using just 1 tach wire when it did this so I wired in a multi coil pack adapter, diode isolated, and it still does it. Any advice or input would be appreciated.

I dont know what kind of alarm you have but it might have some kind of engine check that you can turn off.  I had to do that once on ford explorer because the rpms drop to low on remote start ,the alarm thought there was a problem so it wouldnt start.
