You cant beat the old HC amps when it comes to the power/distortion ratio

from our birth sheets on our kicker xs100's

rated power 50x2@4ohm, 1000x1@1ohm mono

actual power 1240@ 1 ohm @ 14.4 volts @ .041%THD!!!!!

Now thats some nice power

Same with our zr amps

Rated power 150x2@4ohm 600x1@1ohm mono

actual power 846watts @ 4 ohm mono @ 14.4 @ .026% THD!!

Where are all the high current amps? Well I know that my HCCA 425 is running my front speakers right now ;)
