I have gone throught the entire user manual and installer mannual and no such luck.  I know that I'm missing something simple, but I can't seem to figure out what it is.

I am not familiar with the Mannix unit so I am just going to throw this out there for you. I was installing a TRC branded remote start in a Saturn Relay, the brake switch was providing right around 2 volts at rest and then 12 when the switch was activated. This TRC system was actually reading the 2V and not allowing the system to start. I put it through a relay and the system worked fine. The voltage was not enough to trip the relay, but was enough for the POS TRC system. Try disconnecting the brake wire from the starter and try to remote start it...keep some type of way to shut it down accessible like maybe hold the hood pin wire close to ground and if the starter gives you a problem ground it to shut it down while testing. Again, I am just throwing this out there for something else to test.
Keep us posted.

This may be worth trying Twelvoltz.  Everything that I have read about the alarm in the user manual and installation manual indicates that I need to double check the neutral safety wire.  I'm almost 100% certain that I sent this wire to a ground.
