I actually started out as a roadie working rock shows in the late '60's and early '70's.  I got bitten by the sound engineering bug while hauling around large sound-reinforcement gear and wondering how to design those things.  I also realized that if I knew how to operate the gear or how to design the systems I wouldn't have to be the one breaking my back carrying around 100lbs loudspeakers!  haemphyst, stevdart, forbidden, dyohn - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.

Carrying stuff or making it...  I think you made the right choice DYohn.
That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

yes, this site is wonderful one of the best, the best imo, it have an excellent Admin, Moderators, Platinum Members, Gold Members, Silver Members, Standard Members and Rookie Members. i've learned a lot from these members in the last couple of month that i'm member and keep learning. the how fast you where answer when asking something, the excellent way they explain something to you(especially stevdart). and how patient they are when we ask stupid things, and how friendly they are, make this site who it is today, the best. Thanks Admin for making a such great site and thanks to all the members who made it the best and helping us save time and money. thanks a lot.
