I am trying to figure out how to hook up daytime running lamps for my truck. I currently drive a 2004 Dodge Dakota SXT . If you have any information please let me know! Thanks!

things you will need a DMM., 3 single pole double throw relays 16 agw wire female spade conectors, solder iron and solder, electrical tape, and (2) 5amp fuses

first locate the headlight wires with DMM. next cut one of the wires in half  turn on the headlights and test the wire you cut the 12V side the the swith side and the other is the headlight side. hook up to relay as in diagram. repeat for the other wire

for 12v batt ,with an in line 5 amp fuse use

12volts pnk/blk (50A), RED / lt blu(40A) +  ignition harness

for 12v switched , with an inline 5 amp fuse use

Ignition dk. blue (16 AWG)  +  ignition harness

as for the line tied in to the e brake use
Parking Brake WHITE/ black  -  CTM, 16 pin plug, pin 8

thi will allow the light to be shut off when the e break is on

ground, some metal in the driver kick panel  will do
