am installing viper 790xv, the disarm wire output  shows (-) on the viper reference and it say to use a relay. is the accord a neg disarm or positive disarm? if it is neg disarm for the accord, do i need a relay.

To disarm factory security, find the blue wire and supply it with a negative pulse : On the EX the wire is located at the drivers power window switch, on the LX the wire is at the keyless/security unit which is attached to the drivers underdash panel - use a relay as instructed

I usually just set up my unit to unlock the doors before remote start, and then re-lock them right afterward; this is easier than going into the door.

use a DMM to test and see if that wire gets a negative pulse when you disarm the factory alarm

If you're just tying into wires at random, you shouldn't be installing.  A DMM (digital multi-meter) will come with basic instructions on how to use it, or you can probably find more information by searching around this site.

The best way to find the wire is to just go into the driver door. Look for where the key cylinder is and find the wires coming from there. When you turn the key to unlock the door the wire will show negative.
