Omega Max-E on ebay about 110.00 great system, mine has been flawless for three years. Another thing to think about with an add-on unit is range. If u use the remots from the keyless entry the range is too short. If the unit you want is from JC Whitney it is probably a Bulldog, ok but not the greatest. Spend a few dollars more and buy a good quality system.

The unit I purchased is a galaxy2000RS-2W I am checking into the additional parts I will need (if any) since the 97 chevy truck already had an aftermarket R/E system there are relays for the door locks already wired in But I am not sure if it is (-) or (+) pulse.

I need to know if I will need a bypass for passlock I or II for my installation? Sorry to be so unknowlegable but I want to be sure about the required work and needed parts before I start.
currently I have the R/S 2000RS-2W and existing relays in place for the locks, but no passlock I or II bypass.
