I currently have a 12" neon stick in my car and i just aquired some of those so called "racing" pedals that have some sort of LED lights in them.  My question is how can i wire both of these items.  I tried to wire the pedals into the power and ground wire which runs from the factory harness into the harnees for my HU but wen i turn the car on accessories the pedals hardly even light up.  The neon currently runs off the cig lighter socket.  Whst the best way to wire both of these so that they only operate wen the car is turend on?

take a pedal off and try connecting it straight to the battery to see what difference it makes, if it is a rather big difference, check the power source in which u have tapped into and also double check the grounding position, u can connect the light to ur accessories wire that turnes the head unit on, that should be enough to power them
modest yet effective... ECLIPSE 12", Venom 8"x2, Focal 5 1/2" comp.,Response amps x2 (580WRMS total @ 4Ohms), Pioneer TFT + DVD, good for 148.7dB
