Ok
What I am trying to do is set it up so that I can start the motor with a push button switch.
Let me go more into detail
You put the key into the ignition and you turn it to run ( notice I said run not start) then you push this button and the motor starts.
So here’s what I did
I hooked up to the secondary accessory line so the car is only startable when the key is in the starter. Put a 12v fuse in there for protection. Then the switch it was rated for 12v and was labeled for push button ignition so I didn't feel I needed to use a relay. Then I wired to the starter line. Tried it and nothing. So I tied together both starter lines and still nothing.
I grabbed the manual checked what points had continuity between them on the leads on the ignition module. There was continuity between the 12v, starter1, starter2, and ignition. So then I grabbed power from the 12v and wire the push button switch to starter 1, 2, and ignition.
After I reconnected the battery I tried it once again and nothing happened. So I’m out of ideas.
Does and one have an idea ?

Also, you will need to cut both starter wires in order for this to work
