will the factory security trip if you dont disarm while r/s? or will it shut down once ignition turns on? I have a guy who just wants remote start added, no keyless, so obviously i dont want to run a wire into the door if i dont have to.

A factory disarm wire is not needed for any current  bodystyle Nissan, including the Maxima. I know, tech sheets say it is but it's not. The ignition turning on from the remote start will disarm with no problems. No keysense needed either....

Mike M2 is right...... it'll disarm all by itself.
I know you're not doing locks on this one, but go to the carsound.com security forum, do a search for "nissan bcm"........ you will see that there is no need to go into the door in any case.

that info on carsound.com was sweet. I remember reading that a long time ago, and am kicking myself now for not remembering that info on all the countless cars i ran wires into the door for doorlocks.
