anyone know where to look for one in a 96 ish Eagle Vision?  Couldnt find one for the life of me, looked for like an hour.

I ran into the same problem with my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Once I removed the washer tank, there was 6 + inches of firewall to drill through safely and bring the wire in right by the kick panel. I used the bushing in the link I pasted below. It made it really easy. Just like HamiltonAudio said, grab a flash light, and look for an open area both in and out of the car, and triple check for wires or anything important before you drill. It made it easier to use a small bit for a pilot hole, then a step bit to make the right size hole for the bushing. Good Luck!
