Hi,
I added a trunk release solenoid in my car, and wired it up to my alarm's AUX channel. The relay is setup like this:
85 : (-) from alarm
86 : 12v+
30 : 12v+
87 : to trunk solenoid wire
What I would like to do is have the parking lights light up when I pop the trunk. Since the parking light wire is (+), can I tap pin 86's wire over to the parking light wire for a quick "blink" of the parking lights?

If you connect 86 to the parking lights they'll stay on constant and that sure ain't blinking. ;)
If you try and connect them to 87 then the trunk will pop (or the fuse will) everytime you turn on the lights.
Wire a 2nd relay exactly as your above one and just connect 87 to the lights. You can either split the 85 wire to both relays or tie 87 of the above relay to 86 of the "flash" relay.
Good Luck

Well, I think I said it kind of backwards. It's currently hooked up for the trunk release, and that works fine. I wanted to tap pin 87 from the relay (the 12v+ going to the trunk release), and connect the parking light wire. This way, when the trunk pops, the parking light will flash once. (Being that the relay is only activated as long as you hold the button on the remote).
By the way, I already have a relay connected to the parking lights for lock/unlock confirmation.

Better said with a picture :-)
(Gee, and my old alarm used to light the parking lights with everything you did.)

Yes, that is the correct connections. I would still use another relay and isolate the 2 circuits from each other ( just in case ). It's only a 50 cent relay and it couldn't hurt to be cautious.

With the diagram above, anytime your parking lights are on, your trunk will open. You'll need to isolate the parking lights from the trunk release with another relay.

Don't think you can find a diode that can handle that kind power.

You beat me to the punch 12volt....but I guess this is still wrong. I didn't think having the parking lights on would do that....but I guess I thought wrong. Oh well. Thanks for the quick input everyone.

Can I throw another question on here? I'm assuming this will work in the same manner. I have a DEI 450t channel expander. The expander has a brown wire that goes right to the alarm siren's wire (no relay needed) that chirps the siren everytime you hit the aux button (so you know which channel you're using). It says if you don't have a siren, you can put the brown wire to a relay, and have it blink the parking lights. I would like to accomplish both, so do I just need 1 relay? Can I put the brown wire from the expander to the relay, and then attach both the parking lights and the siren to the relay?
Again, better explained with a picture:
