Hi all.  I am upgrading from a Aladdin 2000 to a Lynx 2000 alarm.

The Aladdin 2000 had a specific output (-) for activating a transponder bypass box during the remote start process only.   For some unknown reason the new verion Lynx 2000 does not have such an output.

What would be the PROPER way to securly hookup the box so that one could not simply hotwire and energize the unit?  The box should only be engergized during a remote start until the car starts.  Is there a way?

Use the 2nd ignition wire from the P6 harness ( BLUE / BLACK ) for the transponder bypass module.
