12 inch neon wiring problem in car

 hi, ive got two 12 inch neons. its got a red +ve and black -ve output wires and also a switch. im having difficulties in wiring them so can anyone help me where to wire them up in the car?

run a fused wire from a power source (battery or key switch) to the toggle. from the toggle to each positive on lights. ground each negative to the car body.

i didnt not do that way. i just connected it to the cigeratte lighter , connected the positve and the negative to the cigeratte lighter, is that ok becuase  its working fine?

i did that with my cathodes and it works fine.  its great because the wires to the cigarette lighter are already fused (mine is 25 amps which is more than enough) so yeah, you're good.
