All db drag comps are done on the windshield, that is the way they keep every car equal. USACi You can place the meter anywhere in front of the B pillar, best results are normally on the floor board passenger side with the drivers side window or door open. That helps build pressure on the passnger side where the meter is On the windsheild is a harder place to et higher #'s but a little more consistant from car to car In front of the port or vent would be a port wars score...Yes it will produce a very high # but no where near a resiemblance of what the car really does. If you really wan to know what your car does in a daily application, go to a USACi show and run in street Beat.   30 second average of all sub frequencys using music only, no tones.......average scores this weekend were 125-130db in these classes. 2009 0-1000 Trunk WR 154.0DB 2009 1001+ Trunk WR
