562t remote start

If i only have one ignition in my car, i dont need to use ig2 right? and if i dont use ignition 2 do i need to use the red and white 12v connection? and if i use the red and white 12v and do not have ig2 hooked up will it cause a problem?

It would help if you posted year/make/model...but as a general principle when doing a remote start you should think about what wires need to be poweRED / grounded on the car, not what wires from the remote start need to be connected. If you have a 2nd acc. on your car use the pink/white ig2 for that and program it to run as 2nd acc. instead of 2nd ign. If you don't have 2nd acc., tape the wire off and forget about it.C Renner's Auto Electronix
