Hi
I have a 2006 Scion tC AT. I installed the 791xv about 3 years ago and decided to install the RS part the past weekend. I got everything wired up, but the car is not starting. The relay clicks, but the car still doesn't start. At first I was thinking there's a problem with the immobilizer bypass, but then I tried to RS the car with the key in the ignition and it still doesn't work.
Where should I look at to fix the problem?
Thanks
-Roger

Does the vehicle have an automatic transmission?   If not, is the 791XV designed to be used on a manual transmission?

Have you used a volt meter to verify that the wires you tagged were actually what the diagram you used said they were?   Also use the meter to verify that the starter output wire is going positive when the vehicle should be trying to start.  Was the hood closed when you were trying to start the car?

Yep I checked the wires. The starter output wire is positive when I try to start the car. The hood was closed, I even checked if the hood switch is connected by opening the hood when it is armed.
Is the alarm supposed to go off when the car is armed and I step on the brake pedal? Cause it's not doing that.

No it is not supposed to set the alarm off. The only reason you have to connect to the brake wire, is so nobody can jump in your vehicle while it is remote started, and drive off. When they hit the brakes to put it in gear, the remote start turns off and the engine dies.
When you try to remote start the vehicle, do the dash lights light up? If so try this, try remote starting the vehicle, use the key to actually start the vehicle, after it starts, without pressing the brake pedal, turn the key back off, if the vehicle remains running, you only have to figure out what the problem is with the actual start wire.

We have 2 starter and 2 ignition wires, did you use a relay to power all of those?

When I try to RS the car, the dash lights flash along with the parking lights. When I try to RS the car then start the car with, the alarm won't let me start the car until the RS process ends. Seems like its the starter kill.
