Hello everyone, I have a 1998 Honda Civic HX I'm trying to set up remote start with.
I have everything connected and even MTS mode enabled (shift-knob icon is visible on my 2way remote.) and it even indicates remote start is on.
However, when I try to RS while my car is off, it still gives me the 7 flashes (which means MTS is not enabled?) but it clearly is...I even tried to RS while the clutch engaged but it is the same problem.
Any ideas?

Yep, I plugged the toggle-switch into the brain and made sure it's on.
Do I have to do anything else with it? I notice that there is a "(-) neutral safety switch input" on one of the harnesses, do I have do do anything with that?
I also successfully learned tach.

Right, sorry, I was thinking about the hood pin input. I don't have that plugged in so I don't think it should matter.
Maybe it's my H3 harness wiring? I have
I have all the H3 harness red wires connected to my 12V+ source. (H3/2, H3/6, H3/9) Is this incorrect?

Ok so I changed the 3-1 settings to automatic mode and it's remote starting fine when the clutch is engaged. I think I might just keep it like this but I would need to bypass the clutch.
I just need to connect the (-) 200mA starter output to the clutch wire right? Where would I find this wire?

Bypassing the safety features IS NOT a good idea.

I rather not but it seems like I have to. I got it to work on manual and automatic mode but both require the clutch to engage.

Is there any other way to get this to work without bypassing the clutch? Everything else works fine.

you need a relay to bypass clutch and use status wire to trigger it
