I have a 2001 Dodge Ram with factory keyless entry that I installed a Viper 5704 in. I have everyhting working but the door locks. I have the DEI 451m module which is required since it is a 5 wire system. I am just unsure which wires I need to tap into. I just don't want to cut some wires and not being sure which ones they are.

Apparently on KE models the lock wire is 12V+ and the unlock is 5 wire.
If so (test first) do the following.
451 violet and violet black to a good 12V+ constant.
451 WHITE/ black not used.
451 GREEN/ black to ORANGE / purple driver kick panel.
Pink purple, driver kick panel; cut it and carefully strip the ends.
The side that shows 12V+ on unlocking, connect to the 451 BROWN / black.
The other side connect to the 451 blue/black.
Test before boxing up.

is it the wire harness with the locking clip below the one that goes thru the firewall? I was messing with the 451M the other day and I found out two wires that you stated work when you ground the two you don't use. So I cut the pink/purple wire in half and put a wire from the module to both sides?

No idea, you're on your own with that one, you have to test first.
Test before boxing up.
