Installed a Pyle PWD603RS into a 2001 Dodge Durango back in January and everything works great except for the parking light output. The remote start has a selectable + or - output and I have tried all of the combinations but can't seem to get them working. Is there a way to test the output wire from the remote start to determine if that wire is even working? Once I figure that out I can figure out whether I am going to need a relay or not and get this thing wired correctly. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Do you have a DMM to test the circuit or do you have some type of test equipment?

I do. Its a craftsman 82345. Not the most expensive thing ever but does a pretty good job.

excellent here is a couple things to try... Did you check the parking light fuse on the remote start? If so and its good, place the parking light jumper to positive, take the black lead from your DMM and put it on a good bare metal place in the vehicle assuring that you'll have a good ground.
Then take your red lead and place it on the Pyle PWD603RS parking light wire but make sure you place the red lead as close to the Pyle brain as possible. This will assure that the fuse holder/fuse is not interfering with the test.
Then hit the lock/unlock button on the remote or remote start the vehicle which should output parking light conformation. When you press lock/unlock your DMM will probably only flash 12v for a second but that depends on the length of the parking light pulse.
If you remote start the vehicle your DMM should read 12v constantly while the vehicle is running. It may take a few seconds for the parking light circuit to engage though, I'm not extremely familiar with the Pyle PWD603RS setting and I dont have the install manual.
Also, you do not need a relay for the parking lights. Your unit has a 15 amp relay built-in and that's more than enough. If your parking light output is good, I would use the positive parking light circuit, a BLACK / YELLOW wire at the headlight switch

Thanks for the great info. As soon as it stops raining I'll start doing some checking.

OK, I did some poking around tonight with the ole DMM and discovered that this unit has two 30A fuses on the main inputs but no other external viewable fuses. On one setting the "parking light" wire does nothing except sit open. The other setting it sits closed/grounded and when activated it puts out about 2.3v. Not sure if something is broken on the inside of the unit or what. Any ideas on what might be wrong or diagrams on how to wire this one up?

Pyle Remote Start manual
Check out page four and let me know where your jumper is at for the parking lights. Positive or Negative?

I am pretty sure its currently sitting in the negative position which makes it grounded at rest and giving me 2.3v when active. I'll have to double check after work to be 100% sure.

Impatient so I went and checked. It is currently in the negative position according to the diagram on page four.

Where is the unit grounded? Ideal is bare metal in the driver kick panel. Also, put the jumper in the positive position for the parking lights.
Then take your DMM and put the setting to DC voltage. Take the red lead of the DMM and put it on the white wire from the remote start and put the black lead on ground. What voltage does it read?
