I have been working 5 days all day trying to get this installed. I have done tons of research and have gotten pretty far in the installation. This is my first installation btw.
Viper 5706v + idatalink ads-alca connected W2W
I have connected what I think is everything that I need. Everything except siren and lights. I'm trying to remote start and during the MTS enabling as soon as I hit remote start on my fob it says "tenor start error" then nothing. What gives?

Thank you so much for your reply! I made all the changes and read through the wiring guide for an 05. I have the service manuals for 06 so I am certain where my wires are. After the changes I am still getting "remote start error" and no clicks (no flashing lights) when I try to do the manual mode exit procedure. Tomorrow I'm going to install the siren and set it to automatic temporarily to see if I can get it to remote start. However, is there any info you need to correctly diagnose as to why I'm getting an error message?
Thanks again!

Next things to check :

Is the IDL ADS AL-CA flashed with the correct firmware?  Should be  ADS-AL(DL)-GM2.

Did you set the IDL Installation Mode to Standard ( W2W ), two blinks and lock it in?

Did the IDL program properly to the car?

Are you running the Viper in Tach Mode?  And did you do a successful Tach Learn?

Soldering is fun!

FLASHED WITH CORRECT FIRMWARE

TWO BLINKS

Did the IDL program properly to the car?

IF THIS IS THE "OPEN THE DOOR, INSERT KEY FOR 3 SEC, TURN KEY ONE POSITION FOR 3 SEC, turn again for 3, and start for 3 then wait. Then yes. However it didn't do anything here. But I'll give it another go. However if my for locks and trunk work, do I need to do this?

TACH WIRE TO BYPASS AND LEARNED. (ONE FLASH)

At Step 6, did the IDL LED go Green for 2 seconds?  You must hold the key in START for at least 3 seconds while it learns the Passlock2 signal.

You might try the Viper Shutdown Diagnostics to check for the error code.

Think I would set the Viper Parking Light jumper/fuse to (-) and connect the H1/5 White wire to this vehcile wire :

PARKING LIGHTS ( - )       BROWN / WHITE (-)   @ HEADLIGHT SWITCH or BCM, GRAY 72-PIN PLUG(X2), PIN 5.

Good and bad news, I set the car in automatic mode and (while pressing down the clutch) got the car to remote start.
I know I need to bypass the clutch with a relay, I just haven't gotten around to that. I am getting 7 flashes when I do the shut down diag. following trying to set the car in manual mode and trying to do the exit procedure to remote start. I've read a lot of people having this issue just set the car in auto (even though they have a manual). But I don't see anyone actually solving this issue. And I don't want to set it to auto and one day accedently run over someone's kid.
BTW thank you for all your help so far!
